General

The complete Fazley DDK-040 electronic drum kit takes a few steps beyond other models in this price range by offering beginner drummers on a budget the natural feel of mesh-head snare and tom drum pads and the genuine response of a real kick pedal, all for a great price. Mesh-heads don't just offer a more authentic rebound and playing feel, but make less noise than more standard rubber pads, keeping you and your neighbours or housemates happy. This full kit sets you up with five drum pads, three cymbal pads, and a kick pad and pedal, so all you'll need to add is a drum stool and your favourite sticks.

The Fazley DDK-040 Electronic Drum Kit

The dual-trigger snare pad as well as the three single-trigger tom pads have a tight 6 inch diameter, keeping the size of the kit as compact as possible so it can comfortably slot in the corner of the bedroom. The more compact size of the pads also has the added bonus of helping drummers to develop the accuracy and coordination needed to play acoustic drums, where the optimum sound is gained by striking the centre of the drumhead. The single-trigger hi-hat as well as the dual-trigger ride and crash have a nice and wide 10 inch diameter, and for that extra-realistic feel, both the crash and ride have a choke function, so they can be quickly grabbed to silence them after they've been hit. On top of all of that, the DDK-040 module offers a clean and easy to use layout and comes loaded with no less than 144 different sounds, including 12 great sounding drum kits as well as percussion. A handy metronome has also been built in to help with timing, and since the module comes fitted with a USB MIDI port, a headphone output, audio output, and aux input, any novice drummer is set up with a solid practise partner.
