General

The Roland TD-02K V-Drums is the electronic drum kit for the next generation of drummers and drummers. 16 ready-to-play kits introduce you to the legendary V-Drums sounds. The height adjustment of the MDS-MINI frame has a very wide range. The TD-02K set is therefore suitable for young and old.

TD-02 module

Operating the TD-02 module is self-explanatory. Turn the module on and you can immediately browse through the 16 playable drum kits. The sounds come directly from the much more expensive V-Drums. You can tell by the expressiveness and dynamics. The most fun, of course, is to play along with music. The coach function teaches you with fun exercises to play in tune and the auxiliary input on the module lets you connect your phone to play music from here. Me the separately available Boss Bluetooth Audio Midi Dual Adaptor can also do this wirelessly.

Pads, pedals and hardware

The Roland TD-02K set comes with a snare pad, three tom pads, two cymbal pads, a hihat pad, a hihat pedal and a kick pedal. Thanks to the quiet pedals, your housemates and neighbours will also be very happy with your new TD-02K. This is because the pedals have a very quiet design. The pads are housed in the compact MDS-MINI rack. You can easily adjust the height of the pads, whether for a 5-year-old or an adult.

This is a substantial bit of kit. Bought for my son to practise his drums. Provides an excellent sound quality of both the drums and also the bluetoothed music to play along to. A little heavier than we expected and somewhat larger than I had pictured but then perhaps I should have read the dimensions more clearly. This will be an excellent bit of kit for all his drumming needs for a long time to come.

"Ik heb de Fazley DB41 drumkruk nu een aantal weken in gebruik en ik ben over het algemeen erg tevreden. Het draaimechanisme werkt soepel en de kruk is gemakkelijk in hoogte te verstellen, wat ideaal is voor verschillende speelposities. Wel heb ik één nadeel ervaren: de schroef waarmee het zittingvlak vastgezet wordt, komt helaas telkens weer los. Dit is jammer, want daardoor moet ik hem regelmatig opnieuw vastdraaien. Al met al een fijne kruk, mits je de schroef goed in de gaten houdt."
