General

The Roland TD-02K V-Drums is the electronic drum kit for the next generation of drummers and drummers. 16 ready-to-play kits introduce you to the legendary V-Drums sounds. The height adjustment of the MDS-MINI frame has a very wide range. The TD-02K set is therefore suitable for young and old.

TD-02 module

Operating the TD-02 module is self-explanatory. Turn on the module and you can immediately browse through the 16 playable drum kits. The sounds come directly from the much more expensive V-Drums. You can tell by the expressiveness and dynamics. The most fun, of course, is to play along with music. The coach function teaches you with fun exercises to play in tune and the auxiliary input on the module lets you connect your phone to play music from here. Me the separately available Boss Bluetooth Audio Midi Dual Adaptor can also do this wirelessly.

Pads, pedals and hardware

The Roland TD-02K set comes with a snare pad, three tom pads, two cymbal pads, a hihat pad, a hihat pedal and a kick pedal. Thanks to the quiet pedals, your housemates and neighbours will also be very happy with your new TD-02K. This is because the pedals have a very quiet design. The pads are housed in the compact MDS-MINI rack. You can easily adjust the height of the pads, whether for a 5-year-old or an adult.

Voelt aan als goedkoop ding en dat is het ook, geluid erg dof en mat, basgeluiden moeilijk te onderscheiden, klinkt als een opgeblazen box, imitatieleder bekleding oordoppen en hoofdbeugel gaat snel schilferen en laat stukjes los.

Leuk drumstel, maar toch ook een kanttekening, waarom zit er geen reggea keuze tussen de drum mogelijkheden, een gemiste kans.
