General

Thanks to modern-day technological advances, it's possible to create impressive professional productions from home. Now, you can even do so en route or on location! With the Zen Tour by Antelope Audio, producing is a breeze no matter where you are. Besides USB support, this device features an ultra-fast Thunderbolt interface which makes latency issues a thing of the past. What's more, it has 8 analogue inputs available for switching between line and mic, as well as 2 ReAmp outputs and a TalkBack button. The latter makes it possible for the recording artist in the live room to communicate with a mixing engineer in the control room. Finally, Antelope Audio also equipped the Zen Tour with two independent headphone outputs and some impressive DSP effects.

Extremely Low Latency

Antelope has implemented an algorithm called Field Programmable Gate Array, a.k.a FPGA, that you will only find present in high-end, pro audio gear. This technology ensures that all parallel processes are executed at an incredible rate. That means you get more in even less time! A huge advantage of this is that there is virtually no delay between the source audio and the actual signal coming into the interface, which is what's known as latency. The Zen Tour interface boasts the lowest latency in its class. With an Antelope Audio interface in your possession, you can create truly professional recordings wherever you may be!

Advanced Apps and Effects

The Zen Tour offers you complete control by means of a large, intuitive touchscreen display, and you can even operate all its features via multiple computers on the same network. Besides Windows and OS X, the Zen Tour is also compatible with iOS devices, which means you can control it with the available apps on your smartphone or tablet. Another benefit of the FPGA algorithm is that it's ideal for stacking effects. The Zen Tour features a wide range of professional effects, including the Pultec EQ and the AuraVerb reverb, as well as amplifier simulations. No need to invest in third-party plugins with this baby. The Antelope Zen Tour has everything you could possibly need!

Antelope Audio Zen Tour Thunderbolt/USB Audio Interface

Wrote the following about Antelope Audio Zen Tour Thunderbolt/USB Audio Interface

- geluidskwaliteit: super! helder, transparant, clean, weinig kleuring.

Antelope Audio: Hardware Effects are Standard Issue

Wednesday 8 June 2016 By Lizanne

Antelope Audio, pioneers in clocking technology and high-end studio gear, offer impressive effects bundles with their products. We'd like to remind you just how impressive those bundles are. When you purchase Antelope Audio Orion Studio, Zen Tour or the flagship of audio interfaces, the Goliath, you'll get one heck of a software package included. While Antelope Audio aren't the only audio interface manufacturers on the market, what sets them apart from the rest is the fact that their effects are hardware-driven by a Field Programmable Gate Array, a.k.a FPGA, chip. This technology goes one step further than DSP.
