General
The Yamaha YFL-212 is a great pick for fresh-faced flautists. As well as an offset G and a split E mechanism, the exceptional quality of this instrument lies in the considered design and fast response of the embouchure hole, while the pointed keys have been based on traditional European designs, as seen in the A#, F# and other fingerless keys. The YFL-212 also features Yamaha's special adjustment screws, which allow precise and smooth key adjustment while preventing any screws from loosening on their own and, as a handy final touch for student musicians, the foot joint has been finished with alignment marks. This edition has a silver-plated nickel silver lip plate.
