General
Providing the next step up for more advanced students, the Yamaha YFL-312GL flute combines comfortable playability with more deluxe features, resulting in richer and warmer, more focussed tone. The headjoint has been made from sterling silver and finished with a gold-plated lip plate, while the split-E mechanism ensures that the high-E can be achieved with more ease, and the embouchure and double-flare taper further enhance playing comfort.
The Next Step
The Yamaha YFL-312GL also features Yamaha's special adjustment screws, which allow precise and smooth key adjustment while preventing any screws from loosening on their own. The pointed keys have been based on traditional European designs, as seen in the A#, F# and other fingerless keys and, as a handy final touch for student musicians, the footjoint has been finished with alignment marks.
