Coated in a scratch and scuff resistant Polyurea protective coating, this hard-working sub comes fully prepped for the road, while a built-in digital sound processor provides all the necessary functions plus a bank of presets including PEQ, delay, routing, and more, and everything is navigated and set up via a clear and highly-intuitive LCD display. The DXS18XLF comes loaded with a highly efficient Class-D amplifier with an immense peak power of 1,600 Watts.

Wrote the following about Yamaha DXS18XLF 1600W Active 18-inch Subwoofer

4 van deze jongens besteld nadat RCF me eindeloos liet wachten op een order van 4 subwoofers.. Dit was een van de weinige subs waarvan er nog 2 op voorraad waren bij Bax toen het bericht mij bereikte dat de RCF subs NOOIT meer leverbaar waren. Een tweede keus maar geen spijt. Bizar laag gaan ze en extreem veel geluidsdruk voor subs met deze afmetingen!!

De voorbereiding van de wielen is nogal exotisch, alleen te bestellen bij Yamaha maar zijn veel betere kwaliteit dan de wielen die je koopt voor een mooi prijsje..
Bijbehorende hoezen zijn ook top!!

Mogelijkheden zijn ongekend. Ik zat al met 4 RCF toppen die op het moment van de bestellen wel leverbaar waren maar je kan alles instellen.. X-over tussen 60 en 150hz in stapjes van 10hz..
Voor de Sub zelf is een 6 band EQ en een HP setting van 40hz of geen HP en 'n low frequency boost.. Beware for de buren.. Met ruwe ongemasterde tracks of als er lekker veel laag aanwezig is (
