General

Designed to support advanced musicians as well as absolute beginners, the Yamaha YFL-372GL flute has been finished with a gold-plated lip plate and sterling silver head joint that helps shape tight and warm tone. The lip plate has also been specially formed to help students develop the correct breathing and playing technique while the keys have been left open to help retain the correct finger position. The G has also been offset and the E-mechanism has been split for enhanced playing comfort.

The exceptional quality of this instrument also lies in the considered design and fast response of the embouchure hole, while the pointed keys have been based on traditional European designs, as seen in the A#, F# and other fingerless keys. The YFL-372GL also features Yamaha's special adjustment screws, which allow precise and smooth key adjustment while preventing any screws from loosening on their own and, as a handy final touch for student musicians, the foot joint has been finished with alignment marks.
