General

The DiMarzio DP151F PAF Pro guitar pickup is an F-spaced variant and only fits guitars specifically with a Floyd Rose or similar tremolo bridge. You can use this pickup in both the neck and bridge positions. When you use the PAF Pro in the neck position, it works very well with hotter bridge pickups from, for example, the DiMarzio Norton or X2N line. In the bridge position, on the other hand, this humbucker works well with single-coils, as the output is not too high and the pickup is bright enough to make a nice blend in terms of tone. The PAF Pro has a stable, 'chunky' low end and a prominent peak in the midrange, giving it a kind of twangy sound. Partly because of this, this pickup is ideal for the lead or solo guitarist.
