General
If you are looking for a unique and loud humbucker in single coil format full of character, then this DiMarzio DP182 Fast Track 2 might be what you are looking for. You can best think of this humbucker pickup as a Strat version of the Super 3, especially with its huge boost in the midrange and low end. To use the full range of the Fast Track 2, DiMarzio recommends using a logarithmic potentiometer with a 500K resistor. This humbucker is single coil format works best in the bridge position, with pickups like The Chopper, Pro Track, Air Norton S or BC-1 in the neck position. In the middle position, pickups like the Fast Track 1 or The Cruiser actually work very well, due to their bright sound characteristics.
