General

The DiMarzio DP270F Sonic Ecstasy Bridge pickup is a typical modern-heavy pickup: a warm and muddy sound, but with clarity and definition. Designed in collaboration with John Petrucci for his Music Man JP16 guitars, this bridge pickup features a cool finish on the cover plate. This bridge element delivers a nice punch in the low and midrange, without going off the rails. The highs are very musical and smooth, with pick-attack picked up well. The element is only available in F-spaced configuration, so only suitable for guitars with a Floyd Rose or similar tremolo bridge.
