General

On a T-style guitar, you want the bridge pickup to have a lot of character especially in the high end, a good attack in the low end and a big punch in the midrange. This DiMarzio DP418 Area T Bridge pickup is a is a humcanceling singlecoil specifically designed for T-style guitars and does exactly that! The Area T Bridge has a very wide dynamic range, picking up pick-attack and volume of attack instantly. The Alnico 2 magnets without for little magnet-pull, allowing you to tune the pickup closer to the strings. By the way, the Area T is very sensitive to the distance to the strings, where close to the strings gives a very high volume without that awkward single-coil hum.
