General

With the DiMarzio DP421 Area Hot T Bridge pickup, you get an element for T-style guitars, with a remarkably wide dynamic range. This single coil pickup with Alnico 2 magnet responds very quickly and directly to differences in playing volume and pick attack. The pickup is also very sensitive to adjustment of the strings, where closer creates more volume and further away less. The sound of this single coil is somewhere between a humbucker and a P90 and works very well with 250k controls, but also 500k. The higher you go, the more twang you can expect in your base tone!
