General

Specifically designed for seven-string electric guitars with passive mount routing, the EMG 57-7H active humbucker comes complete with an installation pack, all of which is wired in via EMG's solderless system. Besides being super easy to mount, the 57-7H is a genuine pioneer of a pickup that's been voiced for the modern guitarist so that, just like the six-string edition of the 57, you get the unmistakable PAF-style output of an Alnico V core combined with steel poles. Meanwhile, the active design supplies plenty of headroom and helps shape some super-tight and defined punch. This dual-coil has been built specifically for the bridge position of seven-string electric guitars.
