The EMG Quik-Connect System

EMG pickups come as part of a complete set-up, so you get everything you need to overhaul your electric guitar and kit it out with active electronics. As such, the EMG 81 Black comes bundled up with matched 25k volume and tone potentiometers, which have been set up for active pickups and come fully prepped for EMG's Quick Connect system - meaning that no soldering is required. The pack also includes mounting hardware, a stereo jack output, installation wires and a battery clip.

• Please note: Each manufacturer of active pickups uses of their own solder-free systems. The EMG Quik-Connect system is therefore not compatible with solder-free systems designed by other brands.
• Soldering is only required for connecting the pickup switch. Soldering is not required if you use the EMG ST-style 3-way pickup switch which is not included as standard (see the package deal below).
• If you have a guitar with an output jack with a long shaft, then you can replace it with a stereo version (sold separately, see package deal below).
