General

This is the Seymour Duncan Nazgûl 8-String Humbucker Bridge Black (supplied individually). This is a passive aggressive high-gain dual-coil bridge element, intended above all for 8-string electric metal guitars with a fixed bridge. Still, with its hefty ceramic magnet and special windings, you can keep this pickup in excellent control while playing your most brutal chugs ever. Originally designed specifically for solidbody guitars with 7 and 8 strings, this pickup provides saturated tones that are still super tight even at lower guitar tunings. You notice this especially in the low end, but also the overtones that come to the fore in all registers excellently. However, do you use the Nazgûl without distortion or overdrive? Then you can also enjoy a very sparkling clean guitar sound. To combat feedback, the element has undergone a vacuum wash treatment. The cable's 4 wires also allow you to coil-split the humbucker for a single-coil guitar sound.
