General

This is the Seymour Duncan Sentient 8-string Humbucker Neck Black (supplied individually). This is a passive dual-coil neck element with a more contemporary core sound, intended for 8-string electric guitars. Simply put, this pickup is something of a golden mean between the legendary '59 element and the Jazz humbucker. This gives you a tighter sound based on that classic alnico 5 magnet, while keeping the rich harmonic range and dynamics of your guitar playing fully intact. Not only in standard guitar tuning but also lower tunings, your chords and single notes come out excellently. Also, your leads still sound nice and creamy, while your clean guitar parts still sparkle. To combat feedback, the double-coil element has undergone a vacuum wash treatment. The cable's 4 wires also allow you to coil-split the humbucker for a single-coil guitar sound.
