General

This is the Seymour Duncan Omega 8-String Humbucker Bridge Black (supplied individually). This is a passive aggressive high-gain Mark Holcomb signature double-coil bridge element, intended above all for 8-string electric guitars. This pickup was specially designed in collaboration with this guitarist of Periphery (and Haunted Shores) to excel anyway in his style of progressive metal aka djent. While this bridge humbucker has plenty of output anyway, it is also obviously tight enough for any playing situation.

Omega 8-String: the end of musical compromises

This ceramic Seymour Duncan element gives you a nice fat growl in the low and midrange, but is also clearly present in the highs to give you an excellent percussive feel in addition to glassy clarity. This also ensures that not only your leads and single notes, but also your chords come across clearly string by string in even the most full sound mix. To combat feedback, this Mark Holcomb element has undergone a vacuum wash treatment. The cable's 4 wires also allow you to coil-split this 8-string Omega humbucker for a single-coil guitar sound.
