Seymour Duncan Retribution 8 Dino Cazares Phase II bridge

Designed together with Dino Cazares of Fear Factory and Divine Heresy, Seymour Duncan brings you his active Retribution signature humbuckers. These are the same active elements found in his own Ibanez Custom Shop guitars and DCM100 signature guitar. Compared to regular Blackouts elements, this double-coil element has more definition partly because of the controlled level of high output. This is due to the specially tuned preamp in the humbucker.

Seymour Duncan Retribution 8 Phase II Bridge: the ideal eight-string replacement

This makes the Retribution 8 very suitable for use in the genres of metal and rock. The resulting sound is big, powerful and yet organic. These Seymour Duncan elements come with wiring diagrams and the necessary hardware such as a stereo jack, battery clip and potentiometers. This version is a humbucker for the bridge position and is the ideal replacement for eight-string elements in a traditional active enclosure.
