Product information

General

The SH-4 JB has been the standard among high-output humbuckers for over 35 years. Named after Jeff Beck, for whom it was originally designed, this element delivers that typical classic hot-rodded sound. The SH-4 produces high output while maintaining a clear and sparkling high. It also adds the right amount of overtones, sustain and distortion to your guitar sound. It goes from warm and sweet bluesy tones to raw heavy metal with ease.

Sound and application of the Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB

The Seymour Duncan JB is recommended for the bridge position and is often combined with a vintage-output neck element, such as the SH-2n Jazz or the SH-1 '59 for those classic humbucker tones. This humbucker is connected with a 4-wire cable. So this makes it suitable for coil-tap and phase switches, among other things. Supplied complete with screws and springs. This is the version with Black Powder Coat Cover.
