Shure's SM58 needs no introduction. This iconic microphone has a reputation for being exceptionally durable and all-round. Here, it comes in the lightweight yet rugged form of the BLX2/SM58 handheld: a superb wireless solution for clean speech and vocals that runs on two AA batteries and operates on the UHF frequency band for a maximum range of 90 metres and up to 14 hours of performance - enough time for a serious encore.

Shure's BLX Wireless Series

The Shure BLX Series offers various wireless transmitters and receivers that have been designed as affordable yet reliable and professional-sounding microphone systems for vocals and speech. All of these lightweight bits of kit operate across the UHF frequency and have been optimised to ensure stable signal transmission, making them ideal for roaming musicians and sound techs.
