General
The Large black HS2B headset microphone by Rode features a number of upgrades compared to its predecessor, the HS1. For starters, it is lightweight and more ergonomically designed. The hinge couplers have been replaced with a boom arm which can be moved into position in its entirety. The pull relief has been improved so the chance of cable breakage is virtually non-existent. The cable is no longer detachable; in fact, it is now reinforced with strong kevlar material. This is the Large model.
