General
The Zildjian K Light Series hi-hats are incredibly popular and for good reason. Cut out for styles like rock, jazz, country and pop, this versatile 15-inch model packs a relatively low pitch, an impressive amount of 'wash', and a lightly sloppy sound. The top cymbal has a medium-thin weight while the bottom cymbal has a medium weight, resulting in excellent stick definition and a response to match. If medium sustain and medium volume meet your needs, this satisfyingly all-round Zildjian K Light Hi-Hat is a can't-go-wrong pick. When fully open, it can even double as a crash.
