Best Service Chris Hein - Strings Compact is a thinned-out collection of Chris Hein Ensemble Strings and Chris Hein Solo Strings. To be precise, the number of articulations has been reduced to nine, but only the nine most important ones. And that number nine is actually still not so wrong, with articulations like legato, tremolo, pizzicato and spiccato! So for an entry-level price, you really do get strings you can do something with. You can also tweak a lot on this virtual instrument, from effects to vibrato. Strings, in general, are a fixture in classical music, film scores and orchestrated pop music. So this is not a library just for playing modern Bach, but also for pop music with a symphonic edge.
