IK Multimedia's Syntronik instruments can also be picked up separately, which is great when you're looking for a specific virtual instrument and don't need the full collection. This is the 99 Synthesizer and, as you can guess, it's based on the Yamaha SY99 workstation that was released back in the beginning of the 1990s. The IK Multimedia Syntronik 99 captures the essence of the SY99, serving up just the FM sounds, which still total over 6,500 samples — all of which can be tweaked via various global parameters.
