Aim Audio Essence large-diaphragm condenser microphone

Since the 2024 NAMM show, there has been something of a vibe going on. After all, a new microphone brand had been rigged up: Aim Audio, based in Berlin. The Essence is their big achievement, and worldwide eyes opened eagerly. After all, this is an exceptionally good microphone for your studio. A rather fresh look too, the model is not yet another 47/67/87 clone, finally something different. Not that there's anything wrong with those numbers, but in microphone land, where every microphone looks like a microphone, it's also rather exciting that a manufacturer walks outside the box and shakes things up a bit. The important aspect of this product is switching between two types of outputs: electronic and transformer. It gives you a choice of neutral sound and coloured sound. Normally you would have needed two microphones, the Essence combines it and gives you the choice. We are very curious to see if this particular microphone will find its way, the sound and possibilities are promising!
