General

Al jaren is AKG een tot de verbeelding sprekende naam in de wereld van de studiomicrofoon. Wereldwijd zijn de in Wenen ontworpen en vervaardigde condensatormicrofoons verspreid over topstudio’s. De C 414-serie loopt al lang mee en deze reïncarnatie, de C 414 XLS, bouwt verder op de verdiensten van de hoogwaardige serie. Compleet met shockmount, popfilter en windscherm is deze Oostenrijkse studiomicrofoon de vitale schakel tussen de uitvoerenden en je recorder.

AKG C 414: veelzijdig

Eén van de krachten van de C 414 is diens veelzijdigheid. Er zijn negen verschillende standen beschikbaar, om de richtingskarakteristiek voor elke situatie passend te maken. Van omnidirectioneel tot figure 8 en vier ‘tussenstanden’: deze grootmembraanmicrofoon heeft het. Het geluidskarakter leunt op dat van de legendarische C 414 B-ULS, een zeer succesvolle voorloper. De 414 XLS biedt een modern ontwerp, met een lineaire frequentiekarakteristiek en een neutrale sound. Hiermee is de 414 een ware referentiemicrofoon, die akoestische instrumenten op uiterst natuurlijke wijze registreert.

Instelbaarheid

Om in de studio efficiënt de juiste respons te krijgen is de C 414 XLS voorzien van schakelbare signaalniveaus en laag-af filters. Tevens is de richtingskarakteristiek met een knop te in te stellen, waarbij een LED-indicator aangeeft welke stand geselecteerd is. Een alerte peak-LED geeft razendsnelle reflectie op de geluidsdruk. Wanneer de C 414 XLS vast wordt geïnstalleerd, zijn alle instelmogelijkheden uiteraard eenvoudig te bypassen. Met een dynamisch bereik van maar liefst 152 dB kun je in allerlei omgevingen en bezettingen uit de voeten.

This is one hell of a beast - since I bought it I've used it for a variety of studio recording purposes, including as a room mic for drums. It is so versatile, I can't recommend it strongly enough.

Erg fijne headphone. Super licht op je hoofd en een scherp geluid. Prijs-kwaliteit is top! Ik vraag me alleen wel af hoelang die headband goed blijft inderdaad.

Ik denk niet dat je qua prijs/kwaliteit-verhouding een betere bedrade over-ear koptelefoon kunt vinden. Ik gebruik om vooral om bas en gitaar mee af te spelen met m'n Zoom B1 Four, Yamaha THR 10 en Line6 Pocket Pod en dat doet-ie perfect. Door het lange krulsnoer is er genoeg 'speelruimte'. Verder is het een van de weinige over-ear koptelefoons die óók goed zitten en afsluiten als je een bril draagt. En het geluid is zoals ik gewend ben gewoon goed.

Ik ben altijd al fan van Sennheiser en deze Sennheiser HD 280 PRO hoofdtelefoon is perfect voor muziek luisteren en maken. Sluit goed om je oren heen en is ook verstelbaar. Daarnaast ook gewoon een goed lang snoer. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is gewoon top!

Ik heb gewoon mijn oude sennheiser vervangen door een nieuwe. Ik had ook mijn versleten oorschelpen kunnen vervangen maar heb toch gekozen om een nieuwe aan te schaffen. Prijs - kwaliteit is dit gewoon een hele goede hoofdtelefoon.
