Product no: 9000-0023-9179
Bax Music Warranty:
This product comes with a 3-year warranty.
General
Contrary to other microphones, the LCT 640 TS has a dual-output mode, which makes it possible to record audio coming in from both the front and back of the diaphragm on separate channels. You can also adjust the characteristics of the recording on the fly, or afterwards during post-production. The direction can even be turned 180 degrees to allow you to utilise the benefits of an omnidirectional or figure 8 pattern and everything in between, depending on your audio source(s).
Recording
The LCT 640 TS creates a whole range of new possibilities. For example, it enables you to make MS (Mid Side) stereo recordings, where the front and back capsules function as left and right, creating a stereo image when combined as a Mid channel. Another possibility is recording duets, when two vocalists can stand opposite each other with the LCT 640 TS in the middle and sing their parts simultaneously, without any windshields or pop filters. This allows each vocalist more freedom to express themselves and better creative interaction, which inevitably results in a great take.
Polarizer
The LCT 640 TS comes with a special DAW software plugin called the Polarizer, which enables you to utilise all the functions of this microphone with ease. You can even fine-tune those characteristics while you're recording. Polarizer supports standard VST, AU and AAX and is compatible with both Mac and PC. You can also adjust the settings in your DAW without this plugin, but because the Polarizer was specifically designed to be used with the Lewitt mic, it makes it a lot easier to do so.
