Product information

General

The MXL 2003A studio microphone pretty much sums up the reason why large-diaphragm condensers are a studio essential. The 2003A registers incredibly natural feeling sound thanks to the vintage-based design of the capsule - keeping the sound from getting sterile. This microphone is made for recording vocals and acoustic instruments, while the integrated high-pass filter enables close-miking, and the -10dB PAD even makes it possible to use the 2003A as an drum kit overhead. Meanwhile, the thoughtfully included shockmount keeps the signal free of any contact noise.
