The Roswell Mini K67x large-diaphragm condenser microphone brings back all the clarity and character of a sixties classic while boasting the reliable performance of a modern build, so you don't have to contend with the issues that come with a genuine vintage antique model. Because of their 'magic' sound, microphones built during the first half of the last century are fiercely sought after. But, according to Matt McGlynn, the founder of Roswell Pro Audio, that 'magic' has less to do with age and more to do with the right components. Just like the larger model, the output of the Roswell Mini K67x is balanced by a transformer, which subtly saturates louder peaks, evoking the natural compression of a tape recorder. This model essentially does something that was previously only possible using a painfully expensive microphone: produce sparkling recordings that are never in danger of getting too shrill. Use this mic for drums or piano and gain some authentic vintage magic. This stereo pair comes includes two shockmounts and a case.
