General

The G3500 is based on the Gemini 2 and uses the same handmade capsule, a chassis that is designed to scale, but it is a FET-only version. It might look small, but it is ideal for use as lead vocal mic or primary acoustic guitar microphone.

The microphone gives a light boost to vocals in the high frequencies from 5,000 to 20,000 Hz with a peak at 10,000 Hz. This makes the vocals sound better and more clear.

The microphone comes with a stylish shockmount and a steel-reinforced, black aluminium flightcase.

The Project Studio RF uses the same simple design as the Pro version. Its metal frame is aligned with the same patented polyester hardboard. The material has exceptional acoustic dampening properties, which are greatly superior to simpler foam layers. This is further aligned with a highly dense crystal foam with bent waves, which is very effective.

All this effort results in a good-looking product that looks and sounds even better when you are recording vocals and acoustic guitars.
