The natural evolutionary step for the Neve 5012 Duo, the Neve 5211 Microphone Preamp has a two-channel design supported by the same transformer as the Shelford Channel, guaranteeing the most pure sound in the game. One of the most significant updates is the inclusion of a variable Silk circuit, which is responsible for the sweet saturation added by the Class A output stage, making it possible to drive the harmonic distortion harder than the original 5012 circuit - all while that familiar, crystal clear, open and modern sound remains fully intact.
