Rycote modular suspension
The Rycote modular suspension offers full protection from handling noise and cable-borne noise, as the microphone is supported by the patented Lyre® system. Thanks to the use of the Connbox, noise is even further reduced. Only high-quality components have been used in the construction of the suspension, like the ultra-soft and flexible Mogami cable and gold 3-pin Neutrik XLR connectors. Clean and high-quality audio recordings guaranteed!
Rycote modular windshield
The modular shield is lightweight, durable and made of flexible grey synthetic material. It can easily be slid over the microphone and can handle all manner of weather conditions. The microphone, connector and suspension are covered by the modular windshield, ensuring excellent wind noise suppression of up to 30 dB with minimal HF loss. It´s specifically designed for use in combination with the Rycote modular suspension.
Rycote Windjammer®
Rycote first released the Windjammer in 1985. It´s made of high-quality synthetic fur, which is specifically designed for the Windjammer® and therefore has hardly any negative influence on the high frequencies. Furthermore, it can easily be fastened over the modular windscreen. Importantly, this Windjammer® dampens wind noise by 20 dB. A special foldable brush is included to keep the fur in optimal condition.
Tips or comments about this product
- The length is measured from ring to ring. For the right size add 5 cm to the length of the microphone (for the benefit of the XLR connector), or check out rycote.com.
