General

The iConnectivity iConnect MIDI2+ (Lightning) is a 2x2 MIDI interface with Audio passThru functionality and two USB ports. That means you're able to connect two devices to the MIDI2+ simultaneously: a Mac and a PC, two Macs/PCs, or a PC/Mac and an iOS device. Once you've done that, all MIDI ports on the back of the interface (2x in, 2x out) are accessible for both devices. Thanks to Audio passThru, it's also possible to exchange 2x4 channels of audio tracks.

iConnect MIDI2+: infinite possibilities

With the iConnect MIDI2+, anything is possible. Download a synth app on your iPad, for instance, and use the interface to directly transmit the digital audio signal to a DAW track on your PC. Or alternatively, have an iPhone effect app process an audio track from your Mac DAW for you. That way, you can use your iOS device as an amp simulator, for instance. MIDI and audio can be transmitted both ways, which means the possibilities are virtually endless. It's safe to say that the MIDI2+ is one of the most flexible MIDI interfaces available.

Tips or comments about this product

Please note: for iOS devices with a 30-pin connector you'll need an iConnectivity 30-pin to USB-B iOS cable, which is sold separately.
Use the separately available MIDI2+ power adapter to charge an iOS device while you're using the MIDI2+.
