iConnectivity iConnect MIDI4+ (Lightning) MIDI interface

If you think this is just another MIDI interface, guess again. For many musicians and producers, the iConnectivity iConnect MIDI4+ (Lightning) is a dream come true. Not only can you connect your MIDI instruments to this interface, it also allows you to plug in (and use) three computers (PC, Mac and/or iOS) at the same time. The MIDI4+ is equipped with three USB ports, each of which can accommodate a PC/Mac computer, an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Both your MIDI data and 4x2 audio channels can be routed just the way you like it. The iConnectivity MIDI interface comes with a Lightning cable, a USB cable and a power adapter.

iConnect MIDI4+: routing MIDI and audio

The iConnect MIDI4+ is fitted with four times two classic 5-pin MIDI connectors, and its USB host port can accommodate eight USB-MIDI devices. Its Audio passThru functionality, meanwhile, allows you to transmit audio from one connected computer to the other. That means it's possible to send the sound of one of the DAW tracks on your PC to an effect app on your iPad. After the signal has been processed, you can send it right back, effect included, to your PC, or even to a third computer. If you're working with various computers because some plugins simply aren't available for all operating systems, the MIDI4+ interface is the ideal solution.
