General

Flanger effects and BOSS are inextricably linked with one another, which means the BOSS BF-3 Flanger can be considered the flanger of flangers! Subtle or full-on flanger effects are no problem for the BF-3 and it's even capable of doing this in stereo. The Ultra and Gate/Pan modes, for instance, create a stereo flanger effect with unprecedented depth including Slicer effects.

BF-3 Flanger

The tempo of the flanger can be easily adjusted thanks to the tap tempo functionality. The BF-3 also has a momentary mode that activates the effect only when the pedal is held down. Bought this to use live with bass. It's clean and quiet and doesn't hurt the low end either. The momentary setting is fun and I think it could also replace my chorus eventually!
Brill pedal. Glad I took the chance.

Whahaha! Wat een leip apparaat! De mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos. Geweldig om net dat beetje fratsen aan je geluid krijgen, maar als je wilt wordt het helemaal een dolle boel met de gate/pan optie en de ultra mode!
Voor de basgitaar doetie het net wat minder mooi, omdat je dan wat minder flexibel bent in je frequentiebereik.
Qua gebruik is het een top-apparaat, maar je verwacht ook niet anders van BOSS. Knappe vent, of ontzettende knurft die dit kapot maakt.
