Boss BC-1X bass compression pedal
Product no: 9000-0023-7054
Product information
General
The BC-1X bass compressor by Boss is full of technical gadgetry and boasts a better performance than most conventional compressors. This stomp box compressor delivers multi-band compression audio in studio-quality. It's also extremely easy to use, compact in size and driven by an intelligent circuit. Its advanced design reacts effectively to the dynamics of your attack, and is able to provide a natural-sounding compression as a result. The effect adjusts your sound in real-time, which - due to the very latest technology - never muddles or over-compresses your bass tone.
Pure sound thanks to technology
It sounds contradictory, but the high-tech gadgetry in this Boss BC-1X compression pedal is what retains the natural, pure sound of your core bass tone. Every nuance is captured and analysed so the correct curve can be applied, even if the most aggressive settings are in use. This ensures you can make music without having to concern yourself with the technical aspects. You'll sound awesome under any circumstances, which is sure to help you get those creative juices flowing! Every Boss pedal is designed to support you in this process, because they are just as passionate about music as you are.
Unlimited limitations
Does that sound like a paradox to you? It depends on how you look at it. Even though the BC-1X offers unlimited combinations, and achieving them is child's play. You have four controls at your disposal, and any time you adjust a single knob, several parameters are altered simultaneously. This translates to simplicity and direct effectiveness. What's more, the 18-volt input circuit ensures no distortion or clipping occurs. The pedal has a 12-segment gain reduction indicator that shows the amount of compression being applied, which is a high-end feature that isn't often included in conventional compression pedals.

Boss BC-1X bass compression pedal

Boss BC-1X bass compression pedal
