The signature sound of The Police guitarist, Andy Summers was packed with an array of modulation boxes, but there was one effect that always stood out, which is exactly what the Electro Harmonix Walking on the Moon Analogue Flanger delivers. This flanger/filter matrix effortlessly gives riffs and chords life via immediately recognisable chorus-like flanging. Besides the track that this humble EHX offering has been named after, this stompbox invokes the iconic sound you can hear back on classics like Message In A Bottle and Every Breath You Take. Start by rolling the Color pot up to the 12 o'clock position and setting the Plus and Rate pots to 9 o'clock and tweak from there to customise the output and shape some throwback magic.
