Armed with three different modes, Classic, Thru-Zero, and Shadow, the Source Audio Mercury Flanger is fully primed to match any sonic taste and style. In Classic mode, a deep and satisfyingly dramatic modulation is unleashed; Thru-Zero mode mimics a tape effect, adding a natural phase-shift to your signal that warps like a battered cassette whenever the dry and wet signals rub up against each other; and Shadow mode opens up a highly resonant, droning effect that can be compared with the sound of a jet engine, but with a more silken edge to it. On top of that, this stompbox includes onboard delay control that can be used to explore the space that lies somewhere between a chorus and a flanger.

Deeper Editing with the Neuro Mobile App

Besides building solid effects units, Source Audio have also made it their goal to make it as easy as possible for users to gain in-depth control over the inner workings of their stompboxes and create their own custom presets. As such, this pedal can be coupled with the iOS and Android compatible Neuro Editor app giving you full control over every parameter of the Lunar Phaser and Gemini Chorus, as well as the Mercury Flanger. This editor offers far-reaching tweaking potential since you can actually adjust the settings of the chorus, flanger and phaser engines, and once you've crafted your presets, you can immediately burn them into the memory of the Mercury without having to connect the editor app when you want to call them up later.
