With this Pog 2, the Pog has received an update. The same possibilities, extended, in the familiar die-cast housing. Electro Harmonix keep topping themselves!

The Pog and the Pog 2

In 2005, Electro Harmonix launched the original Pog: an effect pedal that generates polyphonic octaves. It allows guitarists to create harmonies that are exactly in tune without any side noises.
The Pog 2 does the same, but offers even more refined effects. It produces better results with multiple octaves. The Pog 2 allows you to use the effect for single notes, arpeggios and full chords. You can set the effect to create up to 4 octaves, two below and two above the original tone.

Presets: the Pog 2, seriously upgraded

The Pog 2 allows you to save 8 presets, to be recalled whenever you like. As such, you can create 8 different effects, store them and use all eight of them again when required. On stage you can easily use your presets, so you don't have to set the controls manually for each song.
In this way, the Pog 2 is a real upgrade, as the original Pog did not have the option of storing presets.
The Dry FX and Q buttons are the finishing touch to the upgrade. They allow you to make the most of the effects you have created!

de ultime octaver, althans dat dacht ik want dit pedaal kan zelfs meer. Bijvoorbeeld swells, chorus, of bassen op je electrische gitaar.
toppedaal en met de presets snel naar je favoriete sound. Helaas nog geen midi. Maar de sounds zijn gewoon erg goed, trackt echt het allerbeste tov concurrenten.

Je kan erg veel verschillende effecten eruit halen, behalve een harmonizer kan hij ook dienen als chorus bijvoorbeeld. De optie om verschillende instrumenten te stimuleren is zeer goed waar deze bekend om staat. Het pedaal is erg gevoelig, meningen zullen verdeeld zijn maar persoonlijk vind ik dat een voordeel. Maar read the fucking manual anders kom je er waarschijnlijk niet uit.

Voordelen:
- goed geluid
- veelzijdig
- presets
- combineert prima met andere effecten

nadelen:
- tja de prijs
- LP filter is niet erg vergevingsgezind als je em verkeerd instelt

Zou je als je deze wil een andere moeten kopen, ik denk t toch niet. De oude pog schijnt goed te zijn maar je kan geen presets maken en dat lijkt me toch jammer als je er zoveel uit kan krijgen. En de kleinere uitvoeringen missen veel opties die in deze goed verwerkt zijn.
