General

The robust Yamaha EMX5 portable Powered Mixer consists of a heavy-duty, efficient Class-D amplifier and a 12-channel mixer (8 mono + 4 stereo) with lots of functions. Plug your passive speakers, microphones and instruments into the EMX5 and avoid lugging gear around unnecessarily. The whole system has a sturdy metal chassis with large handles for better manageability. As well as a full range of input and output channels, the EMX5 also features an on-board feedback suppressor that enables you to remove unwanted feedback with the push of a button!

Easy setup, easy operation

Yamaha's EMX5 is equipped with a powerful Class-D amp that boasts a very respectable 2x 630-watt output capacity. This, combined with the amp's light weight and cost-efficient power consumption, results in a remarkably high volume output. The protected on-board overload function ensures that the internal components last a long time. On the mixer, you'll find 12 line inputs; 8 of which are mono and 4 are stereo inputs. Channel 4 features a High-Z input so you can connect your (bass)guitar directly. The EMX5 also has a 1-Knob Master EQ™ that allows you to optimise your EQ settings in a flash. Depending on your situation, you can toggle between SPEECH, MUSIC, and BASS BOOST EQ presets.

Wrote the following about Yamaha EMX5

De Yamaha EMX5 mixer voor onze band gekocht in combinatie met 2x Yamaha CBR-12 passieve speakers. Genoeg kanalen om al onze apparatuur aan te sluiten. Twee aux poorten voor de monitors. De effecten zijn zeer bruikbaar voor zang en semi-akoestische gitaar. De hele set is nog prima te vervoeren in eens stationwagon. We zijn er erg tevreden over!
