The Cloud Microphones 44-A comes backed up by a century worth of developments in ribbon-microphone-technology. Just like more vintage models, the 44-A delivers all of that classic warm sound but without any of the low-out/high-impedance headaches its antique counterparts are known for. You can even use longer cables here, and since Cloud Microphone have equipped the microphone with their CloudLifter circuit, it's compatible with virtually any preamp. While every studio in the world has a couple of condenser microphones lying around, a ribbon mic, now that's something else - something that gives your studio the one-up over others.
