General

The Yamaha TRBX204 is a very reasonably priced bass guitar with powerful ceramic pickups. Due to the combination of a single-coil and a split single-coil pickup, you'll have a wide range of sounds at your disposal. Versatility is what the TRBX204 is all about, and it's even equipped with an active tone control system that allows you to fine-tune the bass and treble levels to suit your preference. This particular model features a sleek Galaxy Black finish, to emphasise this bass guitar's powerful tone.

TRBX204: solid construction

This Yamaha bass has a 34" scale length, which keeps the strings nice and tight to accommodate your playing. Another feature that helps this guitar's playability is its narrow 40mm string nut and its relatively round 9.5" radius. As it's so comfortable to play, the TRBX204 is a great bass for guitar players who are looking to start playing bass guitar. Its solid body is made of basswood (linden), which helps give it its rich tone.

The Yamaha TRBX series

The TRBX series is a combination of two of Yamaha's most popular bass guitar models: the TRB and the RBX. This new model is the perfect instrument for bassists who aren't willing to compromise on quality. It offers you the necessary sounds to support your performance with great flexibility so that you can create, accentuate and define your own personal sound. Enjoy unparalleled playing comfort thanks to a solid construction you can rely on.
