Yamaha's TRBX605FM is a 5-string electric bass guitar with a beautifully-balanced alder body and a magnificent flamed maple top. The 5-piece neck is made of maple and mahogany and has a smooth satin-gloss polyurethane finish that feels great in the hand. It's bolted on to the body and the joint has been specially developed to ensure the perfect balance of strength, vibration transfer and access to all of the frets.

The rosewood fretboard has a modern, flat radius that makes it easy to play fast runs and melodies. This bass doesn't just look and feel good, however, it has a great sound too. That's not just down to the wood types used or its construction, but also its hardware. There are two Double Coil YGD H5 Alnico V humbuckers that work in perfect harmony with the on-board controls. There's an active/passive switch that lets you use the 3-band EQ to accurately shape your sound in active mode. There's a master tone control for when you're in passive mode and other controls include a master volume and a balance knob. Needless to say, this gives you plenty of options to find the perfect tone.
