General

When it comes to recording acoustic string instruments, the Audix M1280B is an excellent choice, but this small-diaphragm condenser microphone can also be used as an overhead microphone for choirs and percussion set-ups. This mini-mike has been fitted with a cardioid capsule, spans a broad frequency range and is built to handle high sound pressure levels, resulting in spot-on sound even when close-miking. As well as a windshield, the Audix M1280B includes an XLR to mini-XLR cable, a microphone stand adapter and a cable hanger so you can put it to use right away.
