General
If you are looking for a snare drum with a pleasant, warm and especially dry sound, then this PDP Drums Concept Series Brushed Aluminium is one you should definitely check out! The snare has a diameter of 14 inches and a depth of 6.5 inches and is made of a 1.2 mm thick aluminium shell. The snare features the signature PDP Dual-Turret Lugs tension blocks and various DW Drums kettle hardware, such as the True Pitch tension screws. The snare delivers quite a bit of projection in a low tuning with few overtones, and in a high tuning the overtones really come alive.
