General
This PDP Drums Concept Series Brushed Aluminium snare drum is made of a 1.2 mm thick brushed aluminium shell. The snare delivers quite a bit of projection in a low tuning with few overtones, and in a high tuning the overtones really come alive for a very dynamic and all-round usable sound. An aluminium snare is usually very 'dry' in sound and this PDP is no exception. The snare has a diameter of 14 inches, a depth of 5 inches and features a Natural Satin matt finish.
