The Marshall 1960BX comes encased in an authentically retro-styled cabinet that's home to four 12" speakers. Behind the satisfying '70s grille, a quartet of G12M-25 Greenbacks produce warm sound with a detailed high-end and a hefty mid-range punch. That the 1960BX has a little less headroom means it's able to lay out the thick sound demanded by straight-up rock guitarists, more specifically because it adds extra depth to overdrive, especially at higher volumes.

Niet te tillen...maar dat weet je als je deze Marshallkast koopt. Maar de sound is geweldig! En hij ziet er natuurlijk prachtig uit. Een 4x12 kast als deze mag dan misschien niet heel praktisch zijn qua vervoer e.d. voor mij is het wel een droom set-up als ik hem zie staan met een losse Marshall top erbovenop! En als Angus Young er gebruik van maakt zal het toch zeker goed genoeg zijn voor een een beginnende rocker als ondergetekende :)
