Technology

The 1960BV is an excellent choice to combine with something like the 1960AV. According to many, the 1960BV has a deeper bass, which is likely the result of all four speakers facing forward. To Jim Marshall, who designed these cabinets, the slanted front of the 1960A was mainly an aesthetic decision. On the back of the cabinet is a switch that allows you to choose between the mono 4/16 Ohms configuration and the stereo setup with two times 8 Ohms. Bury your audience in your sound thanks to this cabinet's massive 280 Watts (RMS) of power. Naturally, some more gentle playing is sometimes in order, which is why the 1960BV is more than capable of handling more subtle playing while maintaining that familiar Marshall sound.
