General

The Optogate PB-05 M is an automatic microphone gate that you connect between your microphone and XLR cable. Thanks to its built-in infrared sensor, the microphone only activates when you are standing in front of it, and is automatically muted as soon as you step away. Ideal for lead and backing vocals, talkback and acoustic instruments: less crosstalk, greater clarity in the mix and a lower risk of feedback. Operates on 24–48V phantom power and passes phantom power through to the microphone.
